That's one scary article. Although I wonder why, if they are trying to make women go to the counselling centres, that non-rabid types don't set places up for women to go and not get lied to.

Also, if this kind of oppression of women happened in a, say, Muslim country, wouldn't there be a lot of jumping up and down and complaining about lack of human rights and equality and such like?

It's the hypocrisy that gets me most.
